Isolated showers will continue over the northcentral mountains and high valleys of Colorado through 3 PM. A line of numerous showers from Steamboat Springs down through Eagle reaching toward Ouray is moving northeast at 35 mph and is already affecting Jackson County. The mountains of Grand...Summit...park...Clear Creek and Gilpin counties and the foothills will begin to see these showers starting around 2 PM. Rainfall amounts will around a tenth of an inch with some stronger showers able to produce up to a quarter inch. Isolated thunderstorms can also be expected embedded in the showers. There will be some gusty winds with the showers to 30 mph and possibly higher gusts to 40 mph with the thunderstorms.
